A Message From the Head of School
As the Fortune Academy enters our 16th year, we remain one of 13 school programs in the country accredited by the Academy of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners and Educators. Our ISACS and IDA accreditations ensure thatFortune Academy's mission remains firm: to serve children in grades 1-12 with diagnosed language-based learning differences to become competent and confident life-long learners. We are a leader in research-based education best practices for students who need a different approach to succeed.
Our students soar in our intentionally small class sizes. Providing a rich, multisensory, structured educational experience allows our students to gain confidence in their abilities to learn. Our highly trained faculty understands the unique learning styles that our students share. Our High School program provides three diploma options and many of our graduates are recipients of academic scholarships to universities across the country. Fortune Academy's athletic program demonstrates our continued efforts to provide opportunities for extra-curricular activities and our drama and art departments allow all students to shine!
I invite you to take a tour of our campus and see us in action. We are filled with pride at Fortune Academy and we love to share our community with others.
Thank you for visiting our website and learning more about our school!
Yours for Fortune,
Mrs. Janet George
