Fortune Academy Receives $200,000 Grant Challenge From an Anonymous Fund of Central Indiana Community Foundation
This April, Fortune Academy was given a $200,000 grant challenge with a one-year timeline to complete that challenge.
The grant is for teachers and students. How? By providing our students with real world, hands-on learning opportunities that begin with a Teacher Resource Center. A place to blend Orton-Gillingham with project-based learning in appropriate spaces and places, and with the right materials.
On April 27th, this challenge started at our annual Celebration, with our Fund a Need callout. That night our community rose to the challenge with $82,000 in just 7 powerful minutes. Help us finish this challenge with your gift today. Thank you!
